MentorMed Recruitment is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.
"Personal information" means information about an individual who is identified or reasonably identifiable — including opinions, whether or not recorded in material form.
MentorMed Recruitment ascribes to the National Privacy Principles under the Commonwealth Privacy (Private Sector) Act 1988 (as amended 14 September 2006) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 25 May 2018.
This policy is applied to all members of the MentorMed Recruitment team. It outlines how Doc2doc-oz Pty Ltd will process data comprising personal details in accordance with Commonwealth Privacy and GDPR.
All candidates will be asked to give express consent to allow MentorMed Recruitment to store and share data in the ways described below. All staff sign an employment contract containing clauses relating to the confidentiality and privacy policy.

By submitting your personal information to MentorMed Recruitment, you consent to us dealing with your personal information in accordance with this Policy. Where applicable law requires specific consent for particular personal information, you will be asked to give that consent explicitly.
Your information is stored in our database and cloud storage with restricted user access. MentorMed Recruitment uses a client relationship management programme that maintains GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) standards.
Data will only be shared after express consent is given by the candidate, with potential employers in Australia and New Zealand. It will be shared verbally with prospective employers and electronically over the internet.
Personal information may be disclosed to: potential and actual employers and clients of MentorMed Recruitment; other consultants at MentorMed in connection with possible employment opportunities; and any person or body with a lawful entitlement to obtain information.
We retain personal information for five years since the last communication. Should MentorMed Recruitment not have any communication — verbal or written — over a five-year period, we will permanently delete personal records from our systems.
We will provide a copy of all personal information held on you within one month of request (or two months for complex requests) at no charge.
You have the right to receive your personal data in a commonly used and machine-readable format.
We will delete all data held on you upon request made via website, telephone, email or written request.
