Our Story
MentorMed was founded by Dr Ruth Young (FACEM), Dr Thom Francis (ED Doctor), and Dr Nimai Etheridge (FACRRM) — three doctors who've spent years locuming across Australia and understand exactly what it takes to build a sustainable, fulfilling locum career.
MentorMed is run by a small team of senior medical specialists that have worked, and are still working, for many years in regional Australia. We understand just how rewarding regional and particularly tropical Australia is to work — and how hard it is to find doctors to fill the positions needed to provide high quality health care to our communities.
We are passionate about medicine and care for our people. It is our goal to ensure that all people all over Australia have access to expert medical services at the highest level.
